![]() I know I don't know that much about what I'm getting when I change something in Lumetri. So clearly, if your monitor has HDR capabilities, and you turn them on, you can at least sort of work in HDR within Premiere 2022 without the expensive connecting kit previously required.Īnd yea, I really, really want to be working in HDR. Even with only 94% of the P3 colors, the image is so much more colorful than the same clip viewed as Rec.709! What about the color though? The monitor 'claims' 96% of P3 color space, but after calibration the profile suggests reality is more like only 94% or so of P3.īut here is where the HDR really hits home. And that's not a lot more than the 100 nits of the Rec.709 calibration. My BenQ is only capable of 358 nits brightness after setting the white point to D65, not nearly the 1,000 nits minimum normally listed as required for a pro grading HDR monitor. It's actually pretty solid there, and is useful against a Grade 1 Reference monitor as long as I don't try for broadcast work.īut remember, for HDR, it's about both brightness/contrast and color, right? Set for Rec.709, I'm well within pro specs on deltaE variances on both tonality and color. I've run calibrations and profiles of that monitor in both spaces. At least, as much HDR as that monitor can do. I've heavily calibrated that to both Rec.709 (which uses sRGB color primaries) and for HDR. My BenQ PD2720U for instance claims HDR10 support. If you frequently find yourself needing to chop large quantities of vegetables, then a higher blade count may be worth paying extra for. It will be able to handle tougher vegetables with ease and produce smaller pieces for faster cooking times. After all, it's the blades that actually do the chopping! More blades generally means a more powerful and efficient chopper. There are a lot of things to consider when purchasing the best electric vegetable chopper, but the number of blades is perhaps the most important factor. Of course, raw power isn't everything – you also need to consider other factors such as blade quality and design! Number of blades Generally speaking though, higher wattage usually means more powerful motors.įor example, models with 250 watts of power or less would be considered as having weak motors while ones with 600 watts of power or more would be considered as having strong motors. So how do you know how much power an electric vegetable chopper has? Well, unfortunately there's no standardization when it comes to this so you'll just have to look at each individual model and compare their specifications. Not only that, but a stronger motor also means that your chopper will last longer before needing any maintenance or replacement. Next, consider power! After all, a chopper with more powerful motor will be able to chop through tougher vegetables and fruits much easier than one with weaker motor. Conversely, if you have plenty of counter and cabinet space, then going with a larger model shouldn't be an issue. If you have a small kitchen, then you probably don't want to choose the largest electric vegetable chopper on the market. Finally, take into account the size of your kitchen and storage space.Obviously, the size of your desired chopped pieces will impact the ideal capacity for your needs. Some people prefer their veggies chopped into small pieces while others like them in larger chunks. Another thing to think about is what size chopped pieces you desire. However, if you anticipate needing to chop large quantities of veggies at once, then choose a larger model. If you only plan on chopping a few vegetables at a time, then a smaller capacity chopper should be fine. First, consider how many vegetables you will need to chop at one time. After all, you want to make sure that your chopper can handle all of the vegetables that you need it to chop! There are a few different things that you should keep in mind when determining capacity. When it comes to choosing best electric vegetable choppers, capacity is definitely the most important factor to consider. Now you might be wondering how these factors exactly affect your purchase? Let's see this in this section! Capacity So, how do we choose the best electric vegetable choppers? Well, we shortlist our products while considering how they perform on certain factors in this case its capacity, power, number of blades and ease of cleaning. If that sounds like something you’ve been wondering about lately, then this article will answer all of those questions! In fact, we’ll go over 5 of the best electric vegetable choppers on the market right now so that you can find the perfect one for your kitchen! How we choose the best electric vegetable choppers? There are many different types to choose from, so it can be hard to know which one is right for you. But not all electric vegetable choppers are created equal. ![]() ![]() If you like to cook at home, then you know that a good vegetable chopper can make all the difference.Ī good vegetable chopper can help you make your favorite recipes in no time, and they’re also incredibly useful for making snacks and salads. ![]() So that playthroughs don't end up feeling the exact same, you need more things to spice up the game- not less. Sometimes you need to pair things down, sure, but the genre lends itself so much better to have more content so that each run continues to feel fresh and new. Yes, I understand sometimes it was cited as for game balance or homogenization, but I cannot agree with the philosophy of roguelike dev that less is always more. Once that happened most patches since then continued the new trend of removing elements that are thematic, colorful, and/or different as a sacrifice on the pyre for new content. I feel like the real turning point was the removal of mountain dwarves, so version 0.10. (I wasn't a member then, this is more lore and logs.) To pivot to for a pre-existing well established roguelike.Ĭould you identify the point in time you think the pivot has happened? The philosophy document was written in the 0.3 cycle of the stone_soup project, though the ideas had been tossed around by the team at the time even earlier. Depths and Dungeon spawn lists were also adjusted, with so-called "trash mobs" (chaff and popcorn) culled in order to adjust the difficulty curve across the board. In this release Vaults and Snake both got monster set refreshes including new monsters and changed mechanics (poison processes much faster now) to do the same. For example (this is not an exhaustive list): In 0.26 swamp's monster set was overhauled with several new monsters, plus changes to the level design and layout, in order to increase its threat level. It's also easy to zero in on the removals, and miss the additions, many of which are aimed at making the game harder. To generate nuanced curses on each of them in a way that is meaningful is daunting. ![]() Why put this family of mechanics on a god instead of everywhere in the game? Well, if you haven't noticed, crawl generates a massive quantity of items, most of the meaningless. The interesting part of curses: sticking with an item that maybe isn't the best for you or is lower quality in some way in exchange for some benefit, was the basis of the Ashenzari redesign. After that, an item being cursed was simply a tax on a common scroll, which you either had to carry around or back-track for. Since remove curse was usually abundant, outside of a rare run this meant at most the first 3-5 dungeon floors where the player was unable to use a small quantity of floor loot. In its current (pre-removal) state, it was a light speed bump in the early game: if you knew about curses you wouldn't wield anything you didn't know the uncurse status of until you found ?rc. Several of our goals "no no-brainers", "painless interface and newbie support", and "no need for spoilers" might lead to work that could be characterized as streamlining, but our general sense is that crawl should try to kill you by beating your character in a fair fight, not by beating the player in a game of "did you check all this trivia".įor a specific example from the current patch: the curse system was removed. It also doesn't specify any content goals, those are generated by team members and community members based on their interest and whims when a creative mood strikes. However, it's an aesthetic philosophy open to interpretation, so you have to look at specifics to see how the devteam interprets this in practice. There is a philosophy section in the manual that gives the large-scale philosophy. There are specially developed apps, there are implemetations users have strung together using calendar and todo apps, and there are hacks for GTD-fying non-GTD applications like Outlook and Thunderbird. Finding where it ends is the first step in getting a handle on it.īecause GTD is tool agnostic, and remains so with purpose - it allows for a freedom of implementation and flexibility to craft a system to meet your needs. The reason you implement GTD is to find edges to your sea of work - your vast sea of stuff to do is finite and has edges, no matter how vast.
